Vehicle design to be seminar keynote

Popular seminar will showcase some of the UK’s leading computer aided engineering success stories.

Altair Engineering has finalised the agenda for its Pre and Post-Processing Seminar 2008 has been finalised Due to take place on 24th June at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, the popular seminar last held in April 2006 will showcase some of the UK’s leading computer aided engineering (CAE) success stories.

A selection of leading companies will present first hand how they have successfully integrated Altair’s HyperWorks CAE suite into their design process to dramatically improve their design productivity.

Presenters include Airbus UK, Bombardier Transportation, Jaguar and Land Rover, Unilever and Corus.

In addition SAIC Motor, UK Technical Centre will present a keynote address entitled: “Delivering successful vehicle design in compressed timescales”.

Presenters will discuss the drivers leading them to switch from their incumbent pre and post-processing solutions over to the HyperWorks toolset in order to take advantage of increased design productivity enabling them to bring products to market faster than ever before.

In addition, Altair UK’s own technical specialists will be on hand to answer any questions about the technology and will showcase its capabilities through live demonstrations.

This seminar follows Altair’s recent launch of HyperWorks 9, the latest version of the Enterprise CAE suite currently used by over 3000 OEMs and tier suppliers worldwide.
